Sikaflex-291 is a non-sag 1-c polyurethane sealant specifically developed for the marine market, which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex-291 meets the requirements set out by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

Sikaflex-291 is manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001 / 14001 quality assurance system and with the responsible care program. Sikaflex-291 is a multi-purpose product for use in marine construction. It is suitable for making elastic, vibration-resistant joint seals, and can also be used for a variety of interior and exterior sealing applications.

Sikaflex®-291 bonds extremely well to the materials commonly used in marine construction like wood, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (2-c systems), ceramic materials and plastics (GRP, etc.). Sikaflex®-291 must not be used to seal plastics that are prone to stress cracking (e.g. Perspex, polycarbonate, etc.). Once cured, Sikaflex®-291 can easily be sanded down as required.

Delivery Acceptance

Home delivery orders may be delivered under ‘Authority to Leave’ if the carrier deems it safe to leave items at the delivery address. This is at the carrier’s discretion. If it is deemed unsafe to leave the items, and no one is home to accept the parcel, a card will be left with instructions on how to collect them from your nearest delivery depot. Once your order has been delivered, Anaconda accepts no responsibility for any damage to, or loss of, your items. If you believe you have not received everything you ordered please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Please note Bulky products are delivered via Couriers and cannot be delivered to any Australia Post Services, including Australia Post Offices/ Outlets, Parcel Collect, PO boxes, roadside mailboxes or parcel lockers.

 

Delivery Times

Orders are typically dispatched within 1 business day. Occasionally, during promotional periods or on weekends, it may take longer.

Metro Deliveries - should arrive in 2 – 5 business days
Regional Deliveries -should arrive in 3 – 9 business days
Remote Deliveries - should arrive in 5 – 13 business days

Express orders are delivered weekdays within 1-4 business days, depending on the delivery location.

 

Split Deliveries & Multiple Consignments

Occasionally, customer's orders may need to be sourced and supplied by multiple Anaconda locations. If this is the case, then your order will arrive at its destination in more than one consignment and possibly with more than one courier company. The multiple shipping charges are not passed onto the customer.

The shipping charge paid at the checkout page of the order will not be exceeded even if multiple deliveries are required.

Returns Information

If you order an item online and it is not of acceptable quality or does not match the description, you can return it to us by taking the item to your nearest Anaconda store. If you are unable to get to a store, please call customer care on 1300 558 990.
