The blank we created has three layers, the bottom and top layer are angled in opposition to each other. The middle layer is laid vertically. We experimented with the angles in a new carbon cloth technology until we settled on the perfect combination of lightness, and one that reduces twisting, enabling the blank to transfer energy and power immediately down the line with little to no loss of force.
