What are the Main Things I Should Look After on My Bike?

Keep it clean

The best thing you can do to prolong the life of your bike is to keep it clean. In most cases, all that's required is soapy water and a sponge. For more intensive cleaning, use a degreaser to break down and remove oil and grit from the bike chain and sprockets.

Check your brakes

Riding with worn brake pads is dangerous. You can tell they are worn if you can hardly see the grooves any more. Screeching brakes are often caused by dirty brakes or dirty wheel rims. If you squeeze the brake lever and it moves more than halfway towards the handlebars - you need to tighten them up. Keep your tyres properly inflated
